Jojo
Jojo was a guitar player, and an artist. His younger brother was killed during a race riot. He ended up moving to New York to find work, and eventually found Sadie, with whom he developed a love/hate relationship.
Across the Universe[]
Jojo auditioned to play guitar in Sadie's band, Sadie and the Po Boys needed a guitarist. He got the job and grew closer to Sadie. But later, upset that Sadie had chosen to go solo without including the rest of the band, he started purposefully ruining a performance and Sadie angrily left the stage. When Jude returns from Liverpool, however, Jojo is back in Sadie's band, showing they have made up.
